Services Provided:
Social & Emotional Learning Lessons:
Lessons will be presented in the classrooms to one 4th and 5th grade class each month. Lessons will address areas such as: team building, kindness, bullying, etc. Lessons will also be tailored to each homeroom’s specific needs.
Group Counseling:
Provided for small groups of students experiencing similar concerns, such as social skills, anger management, adjusting to a new school, etc. Groups will range from 4-6 students and will last from 6-8 weeks. Students in these groups can be referred by parents/guardians or by staff members.
Individual Counseling:
Short-term one-on-one counseling is available to all students. Students can make a self-referral or be referred by teachers/staff and/or parents/guardians. Confidentiality is respected.
